This global relay manufacturing company sought our services to build out their entire 300-product catalog into an easy-to-navigate, clean website. Custom web design and product catalog implementation utilizing WordPress and WooCommerce, with multilingual pages (English and Mandarin).
Task
Build out a 300-product catalog into a user-friendly website in both English and Mandarin.
By combining the utility and robustness of WordPress with WooCommerce, we were able to produce a large-scale website with a massive product catalog of over 300 products in just two weeks.
Ease of navigation, a robust search function and ease of language switch were key elements to a successful build of this product catalog.
The power of WordPress shines for a project like this. Custom design using WPBakery backed by effective, low-resource plugins such as WooCommerce, Contact Form and WPML.
With a large customer base residing in both the United States and China, it was key to implement multilingual functionality. WPML makes it easy to build multilingual sites and run them.
Although making purchases on the site wasn’t enabled, WooCommerce was still the go-to plugin for product catalog presentation and product search functionality.
Each product page was designed in a manner to prominently display calls-to-action and drive visitors to fill out and submit quote / lead forms.
